Independence Place Apartments
Independence Place has been carefully designed to meet the needs of persons who no longer want to manage their own home but want to remain independent...persons who need a support system but not the expense of skilled nursing care.
The idea of our apartments is to make independent living as easy and as secure as possible.
At Independence Place, each person or couple has their own apartment which can be furnished to individual taste. In addition, such things as planned activities, meals, and on-sit professional nursing assistance are available 24 hours each day.
Independence Place is extremely affordable. For just $60 per day, you can live in a full-sized, 576-square-foot apartment which includes a kitchen/dining area, living room, bath, and a separate bedroom. That cost is about half of a skilled nursing home.
And, residents get the best of both worlds... independence and the security of knowing that help is near, if you need it, 24 hours every day.
Independence Place is connected to and managed by Independence House, a 50-bed skilled nursing home in Fostoria Ohio. Medical and nursing services available at Independence House can be obtained by the clients living in the apartments.
While some apartment facilities provide staff around-the-clock, At Independence Place, each person or couple has their own apartment which can be furnished to individual taste.  In addition, such things as planned activities, meals, and on-sit professional nursing assistance are available 24 hours each day.
only Independence Place can provide professional, licensed nursing services, available 24 hours a day. Our utmost concern is client comfort, safety, and security.
Each apartment has an emergency call switch connected to the nurse's station at Independence House. Assistance by RN, LPN, and Certified Nurses Aides is available every day of the year.
